    $150 for 60 mins

    Couples/Relationship Counselling:

    $260 for 90 mins - Initial Session

    Discernment Counselling:

  • The average number of sessions for most couples is 4-12 sessions. If the issues are relatively straight forward 2-3 may be enough. If the issues are complex and/or deep seated, many more than 12 will be required.

    We work it out together as we go along. An ongoing review process is important to ensure your needs are being met and that you receive the best value.

  • This varies according to the needs of each individual. On average, clients attend 3-8 sessions. If there are complex issues, then more sessions are needed.

  • If you are experiencing financial hardship which prohibits you from reaching out, discounted rates can be discussed.

    Unfortunately at this time, Medicare does not offer rebates for counselling.

  • Some plans with extras allow for a rebate. Currently, Bupa and ARHG provide rebates for clients attending Core Counselling. It is worth contacting your provider to explore if a rebate is possible.

  • Most sessions are 60 minutes.

    Initial sessions for couples are 90 minutes.

    For Discernment Couples Counselling the first session is 120 minutes and following sessions are 90 minutes, with a maximum of 5 sessions.

  • We work this out together, to fit in with your schedule and your budget.

    At the beginning, for the first 2-4 sessions, weekly sessions prove the most beneficial and offer the best results. Then going to fortnightly, to three weekly and then monthly. However, this isn’t possible for everyone which is why we work it out together.

  • Life happens! Please give as much notice as possible.

    If you cancel or make a change within 24 hours of your appointment time you will be charged the full session cost. If we can manage to fill your spot with short notice a $25 admin fee is charged, instead of the full fee.
